We provide seamless navigation through the many working parts of the perfume development process.
Step 1 Creative Brief
The foundation of the bespoke process. We consult with the client to determine olfactory direction and establish a benchmark fragrance. We examine the target market, positioning, estimate a price point, discuss distribution, hero ingredients, timing and competition.
Step 2 Develop the 'Juice'
The creative brief is given to the master perfumer for fragrance development. We use quality essential oils meeting the guidelines and quality standards set by The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM), International Fragrance Association (IFRA), the Natural Products Association (NPA) and the International Organization of Standardization (ISO). 3-4 iterants will be created in the first round for your review. Sometimes we nail it, but other times we need to tweak it for a second round.
Step 3 Select Glass Bottle
We offer clear glass bottles ranging in shape from the traditional rectangular to the minimalist apothecary cylinder profile. All shapes are available in 50ml and 100ml starting at MOQ of 1000 pcs.
Step 4 Choose Pump
The pumps are available in standard actuator ratings and fit our FEA15 threaded necks with precision. Gold and silver colors are offered in a number of finishes. We recommend a crimp fitting rather than screw top for safer ecommerce shipping.
Step 5 Coordinate a Cap
The only limitation in cap shapes, sizes and colors is budget. Select from aluminum, polyester, surlyn, zamak or wood.
Step 6 Design the box/label
We use an 18 pt cardboard gauge with choice of glossy or matte coating. A corrugated inner box liner is added for protection in shipping. You have the option to have Turnkey Perfume design the box graphics or supply your own.
Step 7 Fill/Crimp/Box
50ml or 100ml of eau de perfume is filled and pumps/collars crimped to the bottle. The labels are adhered by machine and the bottles packed in inner boxes by hand.
Step 8 Brand in a Bottle
Reorders generally ship within 4 weeks!
